Earlier today, I saw the latest installment of "Devyani TV" and I was so upset by how upset they all were, that I decided to seriously consider having a fund raiser for them. We were going to have a hafla/going away party (in June) for 2 of our ladies who are moving in July, and I think this will be a good time to do a fund raiser, too. Kill 2 birds with one stone... have a 50/50 split, sell baked goods, put out the tip jar, etc.

So I posted this in my Facebook, and Jen from Tamarind replied to tell me she's doing the same thing. And that made me so happy!!!

Anyone else willing to have some kind of fund raiser in their town? Every little bit helps you know. And with there being so many of us, I think we can really do something to help our sisters out.
