Spring and Summer are Devyani’s busiest times of the year! This year is no different. In fact, this may be our busiest season yet!
APRIL
April 1 – Devyani performs at Silver Coin in Hoover!

April 3-5 - In just under two weeks we’ll be heading off to Seattle for Cues and Tattoos! This is a big Tribal Bellydance weekend full of workshops from the top tribal improv teachers around the US. Devyani is excited to be dancing with FatChance Bellydance in the Saturday evening gala show!

April 11-12 - The next weekend (April 11-12) we’ll be in Phoenix for Tribal Pura. We’ll be dancing with Carolena and two former Devyani troupe members in the show! Heather of Kamalah Tribal and Jenny of MoonSisterBellydance. It’s going to be a great reunion performance!

May 2-3 - Devyani is excited to host Carolena Nericcio (founder of American Tribal Style Bellydance and FatChance BellyDance) for ATS Teacher Training Certification. There are only a few spots left!

May 9 – ATS Fundamentals and drills workshop. 10am-noon $20
Whether you are new to ATS or a professional dancer this workshop will greatly benefit you. We will review the basics of ATS and drill these moves to perfection (and muscle memory)! Individual critique and correction will be part of this class so come ready to work! Yoga mat, towel and water are recommended.

May 16 – Devyani Dance Center 5th Year Anniversary Hafla!!! Wow, how time flies!! This May marks the fifth year that Devyani has been serving the Birmingham world dance scene! We appreciate everyone who has made this possible! This party is for YOU! This will be our biggest and best hafla yet!
Door prizes include private lessons, henna, custom bindis, hair flowers and more!!!!!
